Who is Double P Software, What is Our Expertise since 1990

Some History 1985: Founded by Piotr Pytlik as Polish Duo in Poland. Originally programming in C for Amiga computers, Custom Animated Graphics and 3D imaging, Special Effects for movies and for Advertising companies. 1990: Established in Canada as Double P Software to provide Custom Software Solutions developed in C/C++ for several well known Canadian Companies. We have since built Games, Embedded Real-Time Software, Client-Server Applications, you name it - we've done it. 1996: Focused our Expertise on Active Web Solutions for Internet and Intranets. We have served quite a few Clients who are satisfied with our Professional Expertise: Analysis, Design, Development, and Maintenance of Active Web Sites as well as software for Corporate Intranets. 2004: Moved back to Poland to establish our Off-Shore development post. Current Specialization .NET 2 (the latest Microsoft Dot Net platform): Converting sites from old ASP, ASP.NET 1.1, or any other technology to ASP.NET 2 with SQL Server for a database. Writing custom Web Controls so that our Designers can work on the pages visually using latest tools, such as Visual Studio, Web Developer Express, or Microsoft Expression. Still Working with: Active Server Pages: ASP is a Microsoft product that allows the combination of HTML pages with dynamically created content using standard Scripting like VBScript, JScript or PerlScript. It also allows the use of ActiveX Server Components for specialized functionality. ActiveX Server Components: Those are specialized ActiveX controls that run on the Web Server hosted within ASP. We have Expertise and Experience in building Custom specialized components to support individual requirements of our Clients. Those could be as simple as access to files that contain specialized configuration data or as complex as connection to legacy systems via a proprietary API to access Corporate Data. We usually use Visual C++ v5 and ATL COM to build very efficient, small-footprint components. Perl and PerlScript: With many years of experience building custom client/server applications and CGI modules in Perl 5 language we became proficient enough to prototype most of our projects effectively in this powerful Practical Extraction and Reporting Language.
